The Last Firing at Rudgwick.....

We made our last bricks today on the Aberson Brick Press, these will take almost three days to go through the dryers before they are set into the Clamp. The Make side has finished working but the setters will continue until Thursday/Friday when the Clamp will be finished with the Setting process.
We started the firing of the Clamp yesterday as can be seen here, the Lances are bringing the temperature to 1050C, this is the left hand side and the right hand side was lit today, this will take until 31st December to finish firing.
