The workshop begins

Today the workshop organised by our Brazilian colleagues commenced - it was a busy, long day but very enjoyable I spent many hours talking to the PhD students about their work. Tomorrow I give my presentation. For some reason the Chemistry Department at the University of Sao Paulo was subject to intermittent power cuts which caused the system to keep crashing, everyone took it in their stride we just had an early lunch. This is the guy who was trying to get the system restarted, the camera's are focused on the students in the audience much to their amusement!
