Bauhinia Variegata / Orchid Tree in Maui

We found these beautiful pink flowers all over the most interesting tree. After some research I found that its common names include Orchid tree, Camel's Foot Tree and Mountain-ebony.

Each day as we walk down the hill through these lush landscapes grounds on our way to the ocean, I see more and more interesting things...today we saw an orange tree and a lime tree. Before, I had not noticed them, but I find myself looking up into the branches in search of new birds;))). instead I find new trees!
