Skyline With Shadows
I went out for a walk for the first time in around four days. I feel better now, even though my cold is still hanging on. The weather was mild and the evening sky was pretty.
This picture shows the sky above Springfield Avenue, looking West from 46th Street. Also in the shot are utility lines, trees, and residential buildings.
The domes you see are at the top of St Francis de Sales Roman Catholic Church. It's one of the more impressive buildings around here but I've never blipped it. I may do that soon, but on that day I'll have to prepare my commentary well. There are some --shall we say, issues. Not that anyone at this particular parish has been implicated in a crime. I'd just hate to blip the architecture and the little memories and the various projects carried on under those domes, without a thorough discussion of the "elephant in the room." That would have me feeling like a smarmy little fool.
So there's my day's blip. It's a scene in the neighborhood, with its sky and its shadows.
