Is it nearly Christmas ????

Where has the old Christmas Spirit gone (not the bottled kind). No jollity, no music, harrassed people and shops desperate to reduce some of their stock early to make the tills better. I did however give myself a laugh as bought a pair of good slippers in a box which was the right size. On getting home, both were right feet and both different sizes (not the one on the box). It was refreshing to see the young man assistant thought it as funny as I did and with speed and efficiency went outside and got me the right ones. Didn't look at the queue behind but hope they at least got a smile if they heard the conversation.
I know lifes not a bed of roses but come on everyone, have a smile. The blip today was in a shop where people were largely looking.
