Mandatory Tree Blip

Out early this morning hunting for blue lights which, having see their effect in the village display, suddenly seemed essential. We have a beautifully fresh and shapely tree this year, so we're going minimalist to show it off to advantage.

Yesterday's birthday boy helped me bring it indoors and wrestle it into the holder. It didn't even fall over!

It's a long, long time since I have so enjoyed putting up a tree and looking out decorations!
