Life on a Rock and More

Sheepfolds - near Snowdon/Pen-y-Pass

Used in the inspection/treatment of Sheep on the foothills of snowdonia.

Longer walk today into Beddgelert. Nice gentle walks through hills and valleys. This is probably the most Welsh town around here. A definite feeling of locals and bloody tourists. But the village wouldn't have much going for it without Tourism. 2 hour wait for a bus back up the valley.

In the evening met up with Callum Stone (Scout friend from ABer.), his Dad (Mr Stone - I didn't know his first name until tomorrow) and Rob Davies - a fellow Skokholm Assistant Warden. Also staying at the hostel is a large group of Hackney Police Cadet. The hostel is alive - much better than last night brain teaser of "The Shining". Noisey night due to police cadets and their raging hormones. I am sure I was never that loud after 10pm when I was their age.
