piece of work

1. Crack of dawn kind of start, out in the dark, wedged in a train, everyone in grey. Cold. Dark. Early. The reception at the other end makes it all worthwhile. I heart blip.

2. A dash accross town, to the Festival Theatre. Ok, I guess. But not really. I need to be honest, these meetings are stupid. Daft. Pointless. I am glad to dash away, even though it's half an hour late and there's no power in Waverley and everything is delayed.

3. I hate to be late for Robert. A good guy and someone I am excited about having on board. We have a good, long over due and pretty ground-breaking meeting - in a small way. Small ways lead to big ways though.

4. A deadline tomorrow and I have five years of stuff to write down. These are my notes. It's not an easy job, but I think it makes good reading.

5. This is England 88 is one of the finest bits of televison I've seen in a long time. A very long time. I love it. I love the characters, the acting, the writing, the design, the sadness. Everything. Most of all I love the music. The music fills me up. Ace.
