Hare'sfoot Inkcap

Went to 800 Wood, previously an arable field next to Madingley Wood, Madingley, Cambridgeshire here. Found Sweet Violet in flower, white with a purple spur, obligatory rooting stolons and obtuse sepals. There were three species of fungus in the hedgerow at the bottom of the old wood.
