Chris-tals

This bottle was in the glass drying oven at work and when it came out it had grown tinsel for us!

It's actually long needle-like crystals of whatever was in it before, potassium chloride or something. Unfortunately, it was not the stupid protein I'm trying to crystallise at the moment; all I can get from that is calcium acetate crystals! A new form, mind!

Counting down the days til the Christmas break now, tensions are starting to get frayed at work and a good few days off will be very much welcomed.
