Bye Bye Car

Was the best light this week but I had promised to take Gavin to buy his Christmas presents while I was doing the rest of my Christmas shopping - should know better - only got his things!
Then had to rush home as the scrap dealer was coming to pick up Gavin's convertible. Shame in a way as I have great memories of driving round the Antrim coast with the top down! Fun car but needed a lot of work! His Dad bought it for his Mum and she was so chuffed with it but it was getting on a bit when Gavin got it. So end of an era!

We had to go and buy catfood and Gavin insisted on buying a huge amount of toys for Dobbie's Christmas - I said its a waste as Dobbie and Finn were quite happy playing with their wee i.d. collars from the vet the other day - got called Scrooge!

I did buy some catnip bubbles though - I'm sure the enigmatic Deco will have a great time playing with these out in the garden. Deco hasn't featured much here yet (do I hear groans of "spare us another cat blip"?)!

So my blip for today is the last glimpse of the Punto ELX convertible being taken away. RIP wee car!
