Finished at last!

I have been entering a few design and drawing competitions recently. This will definitely be the last one for a while. My poor children have hardly seen their mother and the wonderful Mr Down in the Dip really is a whizz with computers, getting all the jpegs and mega pixels right. (I'm sure he has his own work to be getting on with).

Anyway this picture (watercolour) illustrates Chicken Licken warning turkey Lurkey of the impending doom as the sky is about to fall in. I remember being terrified of this as a kid. It just all seemed so sinister and foreboding which was the intention as the book is really an allegory for mass hysteria. (it's great all the information you can get on Google nowadays).

The e mail has been sent all the way over to America. The deadline was 12 AM Pacific time and as husband assures me that America's clocks are behind hours it will have arrived in plenty time. Thank goodness - and now it's time to get on with all Christmas preparations that had been set by the wayside.
