Single figures

Well there was no snow this morning, much to our disappointment! The kids and I (and dog) were looking forward to the 'Snowtice' from work/school resulting in a day at home on the sledge. Oh well maybe we will get some nearer Christmas. However, the good news is it is Friday, my mate's birthday AND we are now on single figures on the countdown....yippee! Not sure who is more excited, me or the kids. We all celebrated this fact in the office this morning with a nice fry-up from the refectory - yummy, any excuse eh! Going to take the kids round town tonight to show them the lights which they are excited about. It is amazing how little things mean a lot and how quickly we forget the older we get. Can't wait to see their faces tomorrow when they watch their videos from Santa!
