Bates Motel

I pass this hotel every day but decided today was the day to blip it as it was so dreich and miserable outside, it seemed in keeping with the dank and derelict Barnton Hotel. What was once a familiar Edinburgh landmark is now the residence of squatters and the subject of much of the elderly locals' disapproving bus banter: "Och aye, there's nothing can be done, it's a listed building, Effie. The cooncil will come doon like a ton o' bricks if anyone tries tae change it".... .... "someone should just blow the place up!" came the enthusiastic reply.
