monkeypuzzle, rain and ladybirds

It's been wet and gloomy for most of today. We did have some brief flurries of (wet) snow.

But these ladybirds were braving the prickles on the monkeypuzzle to shelter from the downpour.

Another chose the lavender

the bamboo dripped too

and the surviving rose was drenched
