The bonfire
continues. We are clearing out old furniture from dormitories, to make room for new. Also recarpeting. The school ofice relocates to a new building on Monday, and at the same the local area network will be reconfigured: not everyone is on holiday.

I'm half way through Asa Briggs' book on Bletchley Park, while parallel reading Roberto Bolano's "The Third Reich", a novel of "dream logic shading into nightmares", serialised in the Paris Review.
