One of the most difficult birds to get near, I placed a feeder in the woods and after a few days I check to see what has been attracted. To-day the usual characters were there but after about fifteen min. this Jay appeared to see what all the commotion was about , past experience has taught me to stay very still and calm until it checks thing over, only then did I dare lift my camera very very slowly.. The Jay is in the Crow family and is about the size of a Jackdaw...
