Roasted or Toasted?

Lets have a heated debate!

There are some members of the Blipcentral crew, well one actually, who insists that toasted cheese is actually called 'roasted cheese'.

Now I've been around a culinary block or two and I've never heard anyone call it 'roasted cheese'.
'Cheese on toast'- yes, 'melted cheese on toast'- yes ,
even Welsh Rarebit that Celtic folderol but 'roasted' never.

Why would you roast cheese? Do you put it in the oven or what?

Are we wrong?
