Marine Crescent, Waterloo

Today marked the annual meeting of the old Parks Department staff. We meet on the Friday the week before Christmas in the Walton Arms. I was very late because I had to go to Liverpool this morning, but I arrived in time to see most people.
Yesterday we found a buzzard on the side of the road, I think he'd been hit by a car and he was a little concussed. I held him until he settled and then released him into some shelter when he was aware enough to worry about me. Hope he's recovered!
