The start of Christmas.

It's not the holiday's quite yet but it feels like its closer tonight.

Our daughter is home from Uni and we have completed the first of our traditions, picking the tree and getting it decorated.

We always get a real tree, it was started as a great adventure for the kids and it's become the thing we do together to start the holiday.

As kids, we always had a fake tree but as an adult I always preferred the look and smell of the real thing.

Haven't been blipping for a while but a few things are coming to an end this month and a few new things hopefully starting in the new year so perhaps a little more time and inclination may ensue.
