Golden Droplet

I believe this is some very rain sodden goldenrod. I didn't pull it up in the fall, and that was because I thought if we had any ice or snow this winter, it would make a pretty blip. No ice or snow yet, just rainy today. It was already late afternoon and I couldn't think of anything to do, so I ran out, covered up the camera and tried to get a few droplets. I wish it were a bit better...

Busy day with errands and doing a small amount of Christmas shopping. I do have presents that I need to start wrapping, but that's actually one of my least favorite Christmas activities. Coconut cake is baked and in the fridge. My Mom is having her side of the family for a Christmas get together tomorrow evening. That's where me & my cake will be for a little while :)

ps. if we have some winter weather you may see the goldenrod later... I may call this "to be continued"

Just noticed last years blip was after an ice storm... I must have been thinking about it..
