Bustle

Atop some hotel or other overlooking Hochiminh. So far the trip is going well and there was even time for a quiet drink in the evening.

I met a Korean fellow there who took me through his factory. Quite an unsual bloke. Born in Korea, grew up in Iran and Egypt, went to school in the States, worked all over the place. I enjoyed his perspective on life and the world in general.

The word lugubrious could have been invented to describe him but there was also an underlying impression of contentedness. Is that what world-weary means? Seen it all, but still happy?
