A bird in the hand!!

Strangely enough it was only a few days ago I blipped a bird in the bush, and here today is a bird in the hand!

This poor female blackbird crashed into one of our windows and was completely stunned. I checked her over and nothing seemed broken so rather than leave her at the mercy of a bird of prey or a passing cat, we put her into our 'bird hospital' (a cardboard box) to just sit quietly and recover for a while.

An hour later I am glad to report we took the box outside, opened it and off she flew...right as rain :)

Bit more shopping to do shortly then it's time to start the wrapping! Is it just me or is Christmas mainly just annoying? ;-)
