Lifeboat Exercise

Our boat The Princess Royal was out today for crew training and assessment, and while out there searching for a missing person round the coast West of us.

They said it was pretty rough out there with Force 7 gusting gale force 8, two of them got drenched when a big wave hit them while they were keeping lookout up on the bow. This was taken when they had got back an hour & a half later to do some more training & assessment in manouvering in the harbour, just after this picture was taken the two of them hopped ashore to nip off & change into dry clothes.

if anyone is around tomorrow, they are planning to go out again for more training and assesment at about 9:30 am
