Blip Birthday Party!

I mean...Christmas party!

Have I mentioned recently how much I love Thai people?
Today was our dorm Christmas party, and their fun-loving character was magnified throughout the day. These university-aged students played games that many people wouldn't be caught playing after the age of 10. We laughed all the way day and had a great time.

For this game, the students were divided into two groups. The teams lined up in two single-file lines, and everyone was blindfolded except the last person in each line. The first person in each line was given a plastic bat. The object was for the last person in line to guide the line, without talking, until the first person hit a ball hanging from string on the other side of the room. Before the other team hit it, of course. Each person had his/her hands on the next person's shoulders, so most teams communicated by squeezing or tapping the left or right shoulder. The trick...the ball can move because the string is being held by two people.

It was very entertaining and a lot of fun. :)
