English fruit cake!

I know I am SO late, but I will do a shorter version of English cake, I just have to.
The fruits are in brandy waiting for tomorrow.
Once my relatives sent from Bogota to Paris a real cake, dark brown and oh, dear..so good. Never had it since and I dream still about it.. I hope you English friends have done it months ago, as you should...
