Great Gable

Haven't blipped for a while, as I visited my friend's house, then had her over to mine, and didn't bring my camera out much. However, yesterday we decided to make the most of the limited daylight and shoot up Green Gable, Great Gable, and the fearsome Grey Knotts. Overtook some climbers with fairly serious gear (crampons and ice axes), then blazed a trail up great gable in a weather gap. I think we were the only people up that day, which is a nice feeling. The highlight was me falling flat into a drift, laughing, then realizing I was in a stream. Here's my friend, with an OS map, trying to get us home. It was white above and below.
