Low tide, high clouds

This afternoon I went to Moddergat (prov. Friesland) together with Ron.

Though we saw the sun trying so hard to send us the right light over the dike, it just couldn't do it. There we too much clouds blocking it, and the moment it did, it was too far behind the dike already.

But we managed to make some nice shots anyway.
Actually I made this picture when it was almost completely dark already, hence the shutterspeed of 130 secs.
