Sky over Lisset

A lovely relaxing day today. All presents wrapped and stored. All cards written. Watched Scrooged this evening. I love that film. It took me right back to the 80s. Fabulous film. Remember watching it with my 'boyfriend' at Christmas 1990. Brought back the feelings of that time ..the start of adulthood with all dreams set out hopefully and now is the reality of those dreams. The stress of life, meeting targets, bringing the children up with high expectations, running a house and finances etc... can get in the way of enjoying those dreams.

Rather than fighting through life to survive, it should be so much more! Can feel a reflective new year and perspective change needed!

I love these wind turbines so much. They are so elegant. It is also a memorial to the 158 squadron based at Lisset Aerodrome. I was told that each turbine is named after a member of the squadron that died.
