Ben Ledi

Heavy frost over night but very clear sunny day, with brilliant views across to the Trossachs.

This called for a walk up - Christmas can wait.

Ben Ledi looked stunning. This is the highest mountain in the Trossachs and it's a very popular walk ( 6.5 miles) and yes I have climbed it.

In the bottom left hand corner of the photo you can see a half built eco house.

The recent storms removed a section of its roof.
