4am eternal
technically (and poetically) midnight is where the day begins, but yesterday ended and today began at 4.30am, and tho i've got a few midnight light pix, there's always been something else to blip, so 4am it is.
why was i out? well, came from work just after 11pm and logged back online to carry on a conversation i'd been having intermittently while at work. and as he and i do, we talked...and talked... and talked... and then i realised what time it was and though 'hmm, it'll be light again' - bearing in mind it was only half-dark when i got home - and popped out the back door to check. twas light indeed, and thought i'd blip cos it seemed appropriate when i'm thinking so much about conversations and also to prove to ole that we get a whole lot of light in the summer in scotland!
conversation is a good thing - time differences are not. can we move minneapolis a bit closer to edinburgh? ;-)
elsewhere: time shortages and time not made also bad - here's hoping things can be made to change, be taken back to the point where time was made often and freely, and fun was had often and freely. things that change can never be the same as they once were, but they can be made good again. i hope.
