Breakfast at Tiffany's

Dear Heart,
Mamma Mia, Pa and I headed into town to buy stocking fillers for the littlies. We visited a little place called Tiffany's which does lovely egg and chips and has posters of Audrey Hepburn on the walls. I think it reminds Dad of the greasy spoon caffs his father would stop at on his travels.
I'm settling back into the rhythms of family life - picking up lost socks and tidying the edges of messy beds... Mamma Mia needs someone to smooth over the surfaces of everything so she can be calm. Pa needs someone to listen, to get the magic wheels of his incredible brain spinning and whirring. I fit best, I think, in the in-between spaces.
