Evans Head

We took a drive to Evans Head this afternoon, about an hour from here. The beach that is on the northern side of the river goes as far as the eye can see. I thought this view south was a more interesting blip though, taken from the lookout which gives a great view both north, south, east and west. The beaches are great but the town itself is not very inspiring. There is a big old pub there with a huge outside area under shade which could easily be made really attractive but it is so run down and neglected that you just don't want to go there. We had lunch there but didn't stay long.
