Gold Coast

It's been another busy day. I took Jo and Mum to the Gold Coast this morning. Our mission was to go up the Q1 tower, Queenslands highest building. It was impressive although it didn't have anything on the Burj Khalifa in Dubai. After that we decided to go for a stroll on the beach. It has bee a fair while since I last had sand between my toes. Strange when there are decent beached less that an hours drive away.

This afternoon we walked up to Ross and Trix for a woodfired pizza lunch. I did a bit of forging when I got home (and managed to burn my arm on red hot steel!).

I might cook up a few steaks for dinner.
