Another Languedoc year...

Hospital again

We spent another seven hours at Beziers hospital yesterday. Complications with my mother's head wound meant that we were whisked in an ambulance from her doctor's surgery, with blue lights and sirens to brighten the shoppers' day.

She was seen within an instant, but then had to endure the hell of a packed emergency unit corridor for over five hours before the surgeon could fit her in.

Amazingly we were allowed/expected to bring her home.

Cheerier news is that Ali's sister is due tomorrow for a five week stay. She'll find it a bit nippy coming from summer in her home city of Perth, Australia.
