Time of Goodbyes
Seeing as I spent most of yesterday and all night on a plane it's stands to reason that the pic will be of saying goodbye to African soil for a few months. I spent ages staring out the window trying to figure out how to make the picture at least interesitng! So the best I could do was get a reflection in the glass of the South African plane.
Flying is not a pleasant past time for me and I'm generally grumpy so my tolerance levels are very low and I especially thought how intollerant I am when I got irritated with the children that were so restless! Really! Can you imagine how hard it is for the moms to sit with these restless cryings toddlers for hours on end, so I gave myself a stern talking too. After hanging round Abu Dhabi for 2 hours we were bussed to the plane, only to be told the flight was cancelled, so back to the airport building, through customs again, then onto another bus to another plane. Who knows why but I am sure there was an excellent reason and that's why I'm here today and not floating in never never land because the plane crashed.
Bahrain is so muggy today, can't see past the Hidd bridge, but warm for winter and the bay still looks as amazing as ever. Will have to go on a little adventure trip later to get a blip photo.
