Edinburgh Giraffes

These two giraffes are sited at the top of Leith Walk outside the Omni Centre( a centre with eateries, pubs and a cinema). They were made from scrap metal by Helen Denerley a Scottish sculptor. I believe the work is called Dreaming Spires. I just love it and although it has been blipped before I knew I would blip it. The brass words in a circle around the base of the piece read "Giraffes! a People who live between earth and skies. Each in his own religious steeple, keeping a lighthouse with his eyes.
