A touch of frost
A frosty start to the day so it's time to turn off the hose-connecting tap. I had a big idea this morning to help the boys with their online game, Bad Eggs Online. The idea is for a book of eggs. I Skyped them, unable to contain my excitement, but haven't heard back. Well it is Sunday. Sometimes I think they regard their father's enthusiasm as a bit intrusive. I suppose as a parent you have to learn to stand back when the fledglings have fledged and they are in their mid-2os after all.
This afternoon we walked the dogs along the Basingstoke Canal and I got one or two nice images but nothing that satisfied me as much as this dead rose, highlighted by the frost. We've only just got back and sleet is falling outside - nice winter weather at last.
Still enjoying my new full blip membership and adding archive pics from days gone by. Great fun. Christmas has come early this year.
