Train pain.

After a great day in Edinburgh yesterday today was not quite as successful.

Started out with a meal at a place called the filling station on Rose street where we ordered porridge only to be told 2 minutes later they had none (in Edinburgh?) Then we ordered smoked salmon only to be told 15 mins later they had no salmon!

Did a bit of a shop and then headed for the station.

Train cancelled so had to go east coast Newcastle and then cross country to Carlisle and then down to peerath. The trip was extended about 2 hours because of going this direction......which was nice.

Took this quick snap as we changed in Newcastle station.

One last note, don't have a heart attack in Carlisle station, the defibrillator machine is missing.
