Forty-five Degrees and Sunny
I took this picture from the walkway around White Bear Lake, where I could park and step out of the car and leave Sam, the amazing grandson in the car seat. In the few minutes I was there, a runner and walker both stopped to comment on the fact that there were people out there, walking, fishing, sailing, on what appears to be open water on a 45 degree day. The sail boats are ice boats and they were skimming along at a fine speed.
Used to a white, White Bear Lake in December, I was thrilled to have been there to take a picture. My camera was along only because I was determined to blip something today and was sure something would come along if I had it with me.
I would have like to have had time to fine tune the exposure or choose a better shot, but Sam started to cry in the car. I was so sure those french fries would buy me more time.
Lastly, yesterday's blip posted with the wrong date. Trust, I am checking it twice.
