winter sun

So, today I did some garden stuff in the afternoon sun. It was really cold, but had to be done... spreading gravel, de-mucking the chicken coop, putting down bark chips, that sort of thing.

It was good to be outdoors in the daylight - doesn't happen so often at this time of year. And the winter sun through the trees is always so elegant and a reminder that it will be warmer again before too long.
