A nice day

I've had a nice day today. I went to the nativity this morning. They did well. Then I went for drinks and nibbles at a friend's house with friends. Then we went to the Christingle service (see picture for a life size Christingle demonstration in the making!). Then Eubers, Goretex, KillerQueen, Mr KQ and C all came round for food and drinks since our niece goes back to France tomorrow.
Only sad part of the day was learning that someone had drowned in the nearby loch as they went to rescue their dog which also drowned. Very sad and makes you think when it's so close to home and somewhere you walk your dog regularly. My thoughts are with his family at this time.
