A week from tonight...

As I was leaving to go to the service of lessons and carols tonight, I looked over towards the west and saw this amazing sunset...almost as if it was celebrating the events to come next week...the winter solstice, my son's birthday, Christmas day. For me this was my own personal celebration of a GOOD day with really decreased pain and more rest. So, tonight, I went to church and sat during the hymns when everyone else stood, hugged friends I hadn't seen in 6 weeks, and felt pretty wonderful!
