Sunrise over the Bay of Shenzhen

Sunrise over Shenzhen Bay. To the right the Hong Kong New Territories to the left is Mainland China and Shenzhen.

There are a couple of fishing boats in the shot which work out of a nearby harbour and as for the lighthouse it purely for ornamentation.

This view is facing in to the bay with Shenzhen Bridge, visible to the left, which connects Mainland China with Hong Kong. The bridge, opened in 2007 by Chinese President Hu Jintao it's also know as the Hong Kong-Shenzhen Western Corridor

Via this 5.5km bridge I can easily access central Hong Kong with its bookshops full of books and uncensored Internet.
