hello sunshine

thanks for coming to bondi!

let's face it, it's summer.. we've moved to sydney.. and there has been a lot of rain.

friends arrived from glasgow this morning, and it was so wonderful to be able to share some sydney sunshine with them. brunch around the corner from home. a walk on bondi beach up to the icebergs (swimming pool. not titanic-esque). a swim at shark beach. brrrr it was cold in the water! and the first time we've swum by the shark nets. awesome being in the water but swimming underwater beside shark nets is a little disconcerting... i didn't want to swim underwater looking at the nets beside me, for fear of what i might see stuck in the net... if the nets weren't there, i wouldn't have thought twice about the shark risk!!

and then a lovely evening - drinks at the Opera Bar with our visiting friends and our friends who have moved to sydney. dinner outside at circular quay and then a little wine sampling before sometime. exhausted...and no jet lag for an excuse.

but a wonderful, full, sunny day, with friends x
