At dock in Freeport

We met John and Dixie ( ed's friends ) here at the dock on Friday night... then moved on to Port Lucayan marina which is in the heart of Freeport close to all the action.... Christmas decorations everywhere... along with Christmas music which both seem out of place down here with the sun and the palm trees...

We had a day of kneeboarding etc yesterday off the back of the dingy which was really fun... although the salt water can get a little annoying to drink and get in your eyes.... then headed in to the grand Lucayan hotel to their tiki bar for lunch and to sample theirfrozen mango daiquri... it was delicious!

We'll be here until Wednesday when we drop off his friends and head out alone to Marsh Harbour ( weather permitting)

Took the Marina bus into get get groceries etc. today... I think the prices down here are cheaper than at home....

I just love island life....
