RIP Rosie xxx

This, of course, is not Rosie. This is our Dylan, Rosie's 'cousin'.

We learned that our Rosie passed the night before last, peacefully in my brothers arms at the age of 11 (we think - she was a rescue dog). It is amazing how they become such an integral part of your life. My poor brother has lost his 'best friend'.

I cannot begin to imagine losing my Dilly, which thankfully should be a good while to come as he's not yet 5, so I thought I would blip him tonight, for my brother and his family who will all be missing their Rosie over these coming weeks, to let them all know that Dylan will miss her too. No more romps on the beach together.

But she will be glad to meet up with her Jet again who passed not that long ago. One wonders if they just give up when their soul-mate leaves?

RIP Rosie. you will be missed.
