Nesting Flycatcher

Found this little Ashy Flycatcher (Muscicapa caerulescens) nesting in a partially dead tree at the Klein Kariba resort where we are spending a camping long weekend.

This bird is a fairly common resident. Easily overlooked, but certainly not shy, which allowed for some lovely pics.

Actually felt quite sorry for the parents & nestlings, as their chosen nest site was in the full afternoon sun, and they were obviously feeling the heat as the picture shows in this parent bird.
