Winter Dreams

This is the view from my living room window, and I love it so much! This morning it was chilly and very still. There was just a touch of color in the sky, but the lake was like glass.
I like the seasons, but summer of course is my favorite on the lake. There's my little red sailboat, just waiting for a gentle breeze, and my green kayak, always ready for a turn around the lake. And there's my husband's pontoon, sleeping until he can take the grandkids fishing again in the spring.
Sometimes it seems like that's what winter is all about...waiting...waiting
