prize exhibit at the first International Marmalade Festival being held in Cumbria this week is this 1 litre jar of Duerrs special marmalade. Made from very expensive ingredients such as 60yr old malt and rare bubbly it retails at £5,000 a pot! I note it has a best before date of September 08, so I'm going to wait til it finds its way into the bargain bucket as the date approaches. And yes those are pieces of real gold leaf floating in it's orangey midst!
